Hello! It's Bruna, the maker behind Pitanga Créations.

Since I was a kid, I knew I was going to work with art; I wanted to do something where I could use all of my creativity.

Many years later, I started a Bachelor in Product Design which I couldn't finish, because I got pregnant with my greatest creation yet: a baby boy named Pedro.

Then a full-time mother, I wasn't ready to give up on my artist's soul; I started making crafts in my free time, birthday decorations, and cake toppers for weddings and birthday parties.

In 2012, I moved to Quebec with my husband and son. We wanted to have a better quality of life, and Brazil, my home country, wasn't able to provide us that. I ended up falling in love with Quebec, even with the tough winter :)

Fast forward some years, I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and it turned my world upside down, I didn't feel I was the same person anymore.
One day I started playing with polymer clay, creating my own jewelry, and with that I found a way to face my fears.

My creations are the product of my own life experiences mixed with a generous dose of love! No matter what makes us different from others, I hope you'll find something for you, something that will highlight what makes you unique!
